The elution and electrowinning system is used to recover solid gold from the loaded activated carbon procuded by the cyanidation process.

Working Principle
In the elution process, anions that can be absorbed more easily by activated carbon are added to have Au (CN)2- stripped out. The pregnant solution produced by the elution process will be recycled through electrowinning process to produce solid gold.

• Pressure Zadra or IPS (integral pressure stripping) system is preferred. The working temperature is up to 150°C, and the working cycle is completed in only 10-16 hours.
• The stripping rate is more than 99%, the gold grade of barren carbon is less than 80g/t, and the electrowinning rate is more than 99.9%.
• The eluent excludes cyanide for environment friendly.
• The eluent can be recycled for tens of times to minimize costs.
• The carbon is always transferred by pressure water for none carbon loss, less workload and convenient management.
• The high-pressure water flushing device is a good option to collect gold sludge easily without disassembling cathodes and anodes.
• The gold sludge filter is recommended to get the gold sludge with low moisture less than 8% which is favorable to drying and smelting.
